Looks like posting is re-enabled, after nearly twenty-four hours. According to the tech notice, Blogger somehow ended up screwing the pooch during a bit of "routine maintenance"; which resulted in temporarily losing all content from after the Wednesday data backup.
Posts are back, as is the ability to post. Comments do not appear to have been restored. I'm not sure whether they will be or not. The tech notice is rather unspecific on that point, saying only that they're working on restoring everything.
So, if your comment never returns from its tour of duty in Limbo, that's why. I'm not going through and deleting the things.
...Also interesting, is that my saved post tags seem to be corrupted in some cases. Well, all we can do is hope they restore everything correctly, I suppose...

'Must Have' Revisions
I've been slacking in my updating of the FO3 "Must-Have" mods list over on the right side.
Tailor Maid is gone from the Nexus wholly; as are both Ling's mods. I've accordingly removed their links.
The 20th CW link has been modified to include a notice that it's currently unavailable.

Blog Changes
Recently, I offered Herculine posting-ability here on the Nos' Mods blog; for talking about her own Gamebryo mods, or even gaming junk in general. She declined, and noted that this was my blog and not hers.
This made me think. While I nominally intended this blog to be about my various modding efforts, and video games/gaming on a wider whole; I've nonetheless let it devolve into a personal blog, where I yammer about whatever.
Even if there's not going to be another poster around here, I still feel this is something I need to change. Keep modding stuff here, and personal crap and whining on my other blog; which had sat unposted-to since November.
Along those lines, I've started posting to my other blog; putting up four posts in the last couple days. From here on out, I intend to keep posting here limited more strictly to games and mods, or their related topics; and keep my boring personal stuff on the other one. Consequently, there will likely be a substantial drop in the number of posts made here; but when they are made, you'll have to wade through less whiny garbage to get to the mod details I know you all come here for.
The other one will be where my idle bitching, gun-related prattle, and general nonsense go.
Nos' Adventures will still appear here, of course; as it's tied directly to my modding and video games. Well, when I finally get around to finishing the next installment, anyway.
So... yeah. That is all.

Nos' Adventures, Introduction
Okay, so I've been mentioning on and off for awhile now a secret project.
I wasn't being secretive strictly because I enjoy messing with you. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy that; it's just not the primary reason this time. I held off mentioning it because I wasn't sure I was going to go through with my idea.
The more astute of you may have had a feeling what was coming, based on the album name that the screenshot I posted on Tuesday came from.
As I've mentioned now and again, I'm a writer, as well as an NPC monger and profanity-spewing code monkey. Since taking up my apparent mantle as go-to-guy for many things companion in FO3, I've lost practically all opportunity to write. So, I've decided to combine Fallout 3 and writing, and do one of those "journal with screenshots" things you see from time to time.
This one - I hope at least - will be less boring than most you see. No trials and tribulations of a misunderstood ghoul; or tour of duty of an initiate in the Brotherhood or any of that crap. This is going to be straight-up me. I write the sort of thing I like to read. And what, you may ask, do I like to read? Sex, violence, and dark humor.
This will cover from Vault 101, up until I either handle the whole game and as much of the DLC as I can stomach, or until I get bored and decide to do something else.
It won't be done to the exclusion of my modding. Rather, it will be an... alternate creative outlet, for those times when I want to write.
Mods will be included here and there, with appropriate links; but I want to say outright that this story will not center around Vault 1. It will likely make an appearance later on, but to start it will be nowhere to be seen.
I should also note that despite the fact that I'm not going to sidestep the issue of sex, this will not devolve into pr0n. No nudity in the screenshots, even. Damn well no AP.
There will however be profanity, blood, and evil deeds aplenty. Be forewarned: in my stories, there are no "good guys".
The entries will be arranged in traditional date format, and will be archived in a new list on the right side of the blog.
Got the shots for the first entry uploaded, and it written. I just need to move it from Word to a blogger post, and add in the appropriate links and such.
So... yeah. Enjoy, I guess. Oh, and feel free to blame Herculine for this. She's my enabler on this one, too...

Changes
You may currently be thinking you're on an acid trip.
If, like me, you don't drop acid, this would naturally be perplexing.
Allow me to assure you that you're not seeing things. I have actually opted to update my blogs with some of the new "designs" Blogger is offering. Hopefully things are a bit less dour and plain now.
Well... you're not seeing things in regards to this blog. That pink elephant doing the Charleston on your desk? Yeah, he's either really there or you need serious psychiatric help. Sorry to have to be the one to break it to you.

More Updates
Should also note: I just renamed the Picasa albums themselves, to keep them more organized. So if you had one of them bookmarked for some odd reason, you'll need to update the link.
I also know I'm in serious need of cleaning out the Fallout 3 companions and guards album. A large number of the shots in there are old and no longer even remotely representative of what you'll see in the mods.
Lotta shots to go through, though, and I'm not sure how long it'll be before I get to it.

Blog Update
If you're a regular reader, you may notice I updated the blog a bit this morning.
Added a Facebook badge, cause hey; I actually use the thing sometimes now, and have two friends on there, one of which doesn't speak to me anymore.
I R so pathetic, I know.
Not begging, but if you wanna friend me or whatever I'm usually open to the idea; although one piece of warning: I generally ignore any request I get to play those "tag a friend" games.
Anyhow.
Also added an official type link in the Picasa album listing on the right side to the new Oblivion Companions album, and actually went through and captioned the pictures.
Renamed the other album links, so that the titles include which game the folder is pertinent to.
Updated the 'Released Mods' links to their Nexus file entries, as my blog posts on the mods were all ridiculously outdated at this point, and I'm too lazy to do new writeups.
Can't make promises, but as you may notice from the MAG rant below this post, I'm going to try to spend more time talking about my thoughts on gaming in general, and less time bitching sociopathically about people who can't RTFM on the Nexus.
