Also

While I'm posting stuff that no one really cares about this morning anyway, I'll also note that some people have entirely too much free time on their hands.

I recognize Cloud, Link, and Saber (and oh, how it pains me to admit I didn't even have to think about their identities...) but that fourth one... I know it's a Japanese superhero TV show; I've seen images from it, but never caught the name.

  1. Too much time on their hands, yes. But they did a good job though.

  2. As incredibly geeky as that might be, there's far worse ways to spent your time.

It pains me to admit I recognise them too >_<

  3. If you had not named them, I might have only recognized Link, and than as "that guy from Zelda". It is a nice bit of work though, but being anime, not something that holds my attention.

  6. lol. "kamen" is japanese for mask, and "weaboo" is a slanguage term for someone who way too far into japanese shit for their own good. :P

  7. For the record: I never said the work was bad. Far from it; the fact that the characters are so recognizable speaks volumes to the maker's talent.

I just said they had too much free time. Which is an opinion I stand by, even if I myself have no business casting stones from within the glass walls of NosCo HQ.

And Darksong: I had thought Kamen Rider at first, but then I thought that was the Japanese name for the Power Rangers, and that that guy was called something else. Suppose I should have gone with my first instinct, after all. Then again, the last Japanese show I watched in live action was Ultraman, so that should tell you how much I keep up on their superhero shows...

  8. And: I also want to say I envy the character maker's ability to either find or create whatever accoutrements they need for character creation. Wish I could do that.
