Interruptions

I'm sure many of you wonder why I get snarky and unpleasant with my "loyal fans".

Well, look at what I got a couple days ago:

"I was using the old RR Companion Vault mod and everything was fine.
After updating with version 5.5 i got loading errors and figured out that the problem was "RR Companions Vault Alternate Guards": without that everything works.

Is it possible that the new release 5.5 of the vault is not compatible for some reason with this?
"

This, folks, is a beautiful comment.

We have no detail whatsoever. No description of the exact problem that's occurring. No listing of other mods. No mention of how it was "figured out" that the AG plugin is the problem.

Seriously. "Loading errors"? What the hell does that even mean? It's not like FO3 runs a POST on startup. What is it? Are the NPCs not rendering correctly when the cell loads? Is it suffering a CTD on savegame-load? Are little pink elephants dancing on your fucking desktop after the game loads?

Now look, genetic defectives of the FO3 community: if you do not tell me what the fucking problem is, I have no idea where to even start looking for how to fix it.

Further, in my personal game I haven't removed my Alternate Guards plugin since... v5 or v5.1 of the main master, and even then I only switched it off to test something unrelated. It's been running uninterrupted otherwise, and still is. I was playing the game last night, in fact, testing the newest revisions to the (as yet unreleased) 5.6 Beta 3. Everything works just like it always has.

So, please, if you're going to bitch in my general direction about something not working, take the thirteen extra seconds to type out what the mod is doing that you don't think is right!

Otherwise, you succeed only in annoying me, and slowing down my work on other projects when I have to stop to ask you what in the holy fucking hell is going on.

I mean, Goddamn. I don't expect you to be modders or scripters in your own rights, but at least tell me whether it's an NPC bug, or the game crashing, or something. Throw me a frickin' bone here, as Dr. Evil would say.
