Okay, this is going to be one of those posts. Not video game related; but as much as we all play Fallout et al, I thought some of you might be able to appreciate this video:

Apparently based on a short by Ray Bradbury. Not really sure what to call it, myself. The place I found it linked described it as "creepy" and "haunting". Can't really say as I agree with that, but I have been wrong before.
I wonder who broke all the windows?

The record player with that song makes me think the creators of Fallout 3 have watched this clip more than once.
I had assumed the windows were broken out in the nuclear holocaust and so forth.
ReplyDeleteBut what some people have pointed out - and I agree - is that if that was a typical morning, the humans wouldn't still be ash in their beds years later; so it kind of breaks the story's time line a bit.
Then again, it is an Uzbeki movie from 1984, so we're probably lucky it's as coherent as it is.
